Yipeng (Harry) Wang

I am currently an instructor in the Department of Mathematics at Princeton University. I graduated from Columbia University in May 2026, where I was fortunate to be advised by Simon Brendle. In September 2027, I will join the School of Mathematics at the Institute for Advanced Study as a Member.

Research

My research lies in geometric analysis and differential geometry. I study how curvature conditions shape the global geometry and topology of manifolds. I am interested in questions involving scalar curvature, minimal hypersurfaces and other geometric variational problems.
